Our commercial grade heavy-duty DOT approved blue reflective road markers are a great tool for locating fire hydrants, water-points and other hard to see items in the dark. The 4-inch by 4-inch reflector is constructed of hard acrylic for maximum strength and a sanded base for optimal grip during installation. The highly visible internal reflector is protected by a rib and fish hook design. Designed for any roadway and to withstand all cars and trucks.
How To Install on Asphalt or Concrete
Clean surface. Face the reflective part of the road marker in the direction of traffic when being used on the road or facing the entrance of a driveway. If sticky pad is not already attached to the marker, then remove one protective cover from the pressure-activated butyl self-adhesive pad and firmly apply the pad to the bottom of the marker. Remove the other pad cover and firmly apply to clean road surface using pressure. If using epoxy or construction glue wait 24 hours before driving over the reflector.
- No epoxy or glue necessary, includes 3/32” thick butyl pressure-activated self-adhesive pad.
- Install horizontally on any clean asphalt or concrete surface, NOT on dirt or gravel
- Reflectors are not battery operated or solar powered, they reflect external light sources
- #1 choice for marking fire hydrants for fire departments
IMPORTANT - Product WILL NOT stay in place on Gravel, Dirt, Mud or any other type of loose road surface.
How To Remove Road Marker
In the event your marker becomes damaged, just use a flat shovel and pry upward. Markers installed using our butyl pads are removable without damaging the asphalt or concrete. Damage may occur when removing markers installed using binding epoxy or construction glue.
