Description

Achieve maximum stream reach even when your water source has low to moderate pressure with this high strength aluminum heavy-duty 1inch NH / NST selectable gallonage nozzle. Outfitted with large rubber bumper, 316 stainless steel shutoff ball, stainless steel spinning teeth and stainless steel inlet screen. Polyamide flow control ring with raised lugs for easy flow control adjustment under pressure. Anodized metal body bands with topcoat to resist scratching.

This nozzle has the capability to be fully flushed to help with clearing of any debris and conforms to all aspects of NFPA 1964. Each nozzle etched with unique serial number for easy tracking.

National Hose (NH) aka National Standard Thread (NST) is often referred to as “fire hose thread” as this is by far the most common thread in use today by fire departments.

NH / NST: The most common thread type in use by fire departments today is NST or National Standard Thread. NST also goes by the initials NH or National Hose. It can even be referred to as NHT or National Hose Thread but NST or NH is more common these days. NH = NST.

  • The female side of a NH / NST coupling will only connect to a male NH / NST connection
  • The male side of a NH / NST coupling will only connect to a female NH / NST connection
