Description

Blue lightweight lay flat PVC discharge hose is rated for light duty. This hose is designed to be used in lower range water pressure situations having a maximum pressure of 50 psi. This pump discharge hose is constructed from blue PVC and reinforced by polyester yarn. Popular hose for general outdoor low pressure discharge applications.

Not intended for indoor use, firefighting or closed pressure applications such as use with nozzles.

Help Me Connect

NPSH: Hoses with National Pipe Straight Hose Thread (NPSH or NPS) has the same threads per inch (TPI) as National Pipe Thread (NPT) but the threads do not taper. This allows a female coupling to thread onto a NPT fitting without being a permanent connection. For example, a female fire hose coupling with NPSH threads will only connect to a PVC pipe, metal pipe or couplings with NPSH or NPT threads. Fittings that are connected together by NPT by NPT require a sealing agent like pipe cement or teflon tape because the threads are making the seal and a permanent connection. When a female NPSH is threaded onto a male NPT fitting, it allows this connection to thread on and off frequently by using a gasket to seal.

  • The female side of a NPSH coupling will only connect to a male NPT pipe or a male NPSH connection
  • The male side of a NPSH coupling will only connect to a female NPSH connection.
  • It will NOT thread into a female NPT pipe. For example, a male NPSH coupling will NOT thread into a female metal or pvc pipe.

We will replace any hose with manufacturer defects in material and workmanship. All warranty claims must be returned to us for inspection before we determine a solution.

Our warranty does not cover gaskets, shipping cost, cosmetic damages, normal wear-and-tear, improper use or chemical damage.

Upon receipt of the returned goods, hoses will be subject to inspection and testing.

Should it be determined that the hose is covered by warranty, it will be repaired or replaced.
