The Riptide ALX Pitotless Waterway 1 1/8 inch is designed for integration into the larger Riptide Flow Testing System ALX. It connects securely to the Receiver of a Riptide Diffuser unit.
  • To install, depress the Red Safety Button on the Pin Lock and pull the Black Knob away from the Waterway. Slide the Waterway into the Receiver, aligning the pressure measurement port and Set Screws, then twist clockwise until secure.
  • The integrated coupling threads onto a 2 1/2 inch firehose ensuring a water-tight connection for flow testing.
  • When replacing the coupling, ensure the C-Dimension (distance from the back of the pressure measurement port hex to the front of the Coupling) is 6 1/2 inches, +/- 0.100 inch, for a water-tight connection.
Important Note: This waterway can be removed from the Receiver for flowing to atmosphere without diffusing. However, do not flow water from a Pitotless Waterway if it is attached directly to a firehose but not secured within a Receiver affixed to a Riptide Diffuser.
