Dual Range Nozzles perform over a wider range of water pressures than constant flow nozzles and give the operator more GPM control with both a low flow and a high flow rate. This aluminum twist nozzle initially opens to the lower GPM range straight stream pattern, then the low range fog pattern, then high GPM straight stream and finally high GPM fog pattern. Simply twist the barrel to adjust the patterns and to turn on/off.
If you have lower water pressure or are not sure of the water pressure with which you will be using your nozzle, this is an excellent choice. A Constant Flow nozzle with too high of a GPM rate for the water pressure will not project its stream well.
The 20/90 GPM version will provide a heavier cone vs the 20/60 GPM version at max open. User must have sufficient water pressure for the 90 GPM version to project maximum stream distance. The 20/60 GPM version is better suited for average water pressures.
Crafted from anodized aircraft aluminum with large rubber bumper, this Dual Range nozzle is ultra-lightweight and extremely durable. These nozzles are designed to meet or exceed U.S. Forest Service Performance Specifications (FSS) 5100-239.
